Photography of Nature.

You do not have to be a professional photographer to enjoy or take pictures of nature and thats the category I belong to as well. I just click what and where I feel like. Photography of nature can be done by anyone with a decent point and shoot camera and a great location. Subjects can be as broad as the Grand Canyon to as tiny as the ant carrying a picnic sized load across your sidewalk. The key to good nature photography is knowing your subject. Understanding the habits of animals will make it easier to time the click of the shutter with the action shot which we want to capture. Or if you are shooting landscapes, understand the lights that surround the subject. Find out where the sun will rise or set and at what times it does that. Shooting in the middle of the day might not give the best results at times but depends. Always better to shoot at dawn or dusk for the best possible lighting. Good nature photography can be a joy to look at. Make sure to frame your best pieces and hang them as works of art in your home. Happy Clicking 🙂 .

Thanks for the tip! My husband and I often travel. He was the only one taking pictures since he is the professional one. I guess I can take pictures too.

This is a nice post! I will try it the next time we travel. I often just take photos of people but never tried nature.

Nature is the best model you can ever get. It is just stunningly beautiful. It doesn’t need any Photoshop anymore.
